Christmas Trees

We are very pleased to be offering our own home grown non-drop Nordmann Fir and traditional Norway Spruce trees. We will start to cut at the end of November and throughout December ensuring their freshness and longevity for you to enjoy throughout the Christmas period. They will have travelled only one field away from the farmyard. Local and super fresh.

Our trees range from 1.5m to 2.4m with prices between £20 & £90.

Purchasing Your Tree
It is essential that cut trees should be fresh when purchased. The needles should not be dull and dried up. The branches should not be brittle. The outer needles should not fall off if the tree is gently shaken.

Care for Your Tree

  • Keep your tree outside in a cool shaded place, preferably standing in water, until it is required indoors.

  • To help keep it fresh, cut about half an inch off the butt before taking it inside.

  • Mount it in a water-holding stand or wedge it in a bucket with pebbles, small stones or screwed up newspaper.

  • If possible, place it away from direct heat.

  • Keep the container topped up with water every day, Christmas trees are really thirsty!

  • If using a metal stand and have heated floors, put base on a cork mat.

Handmade Wreaths & Christmas Shopping

In the Granary Gift Shop we will have our Wreath Bar so you can choose individual decor to go on your wreaths plus willow rings, mossed rings and bundles of foliage if you decide not to order a complete wreath kit. We will have a selection of our beautiful handmade Christmas wreaths, plus bulb planters and together with a lovely selection of British crafted gifts made by local artists, designers and makers.

Everything we stock we look to ensure the footprint is light, produced with sustainability in mind, made in the UK where possible and we take great care to be as transparent as we can.

Christmas Wreath Workshops

We are hosting two wreath workshops this Christmas which need to work around our busy weekend Christmas tree sales. So Monday 30th November and Wednesday 9th December 10am to 12.30pm for 8 places per session. A lovely cosy group hosted in the old Dairy with our trusty log burner to keep us warm, hot soup, delicious homemade nibbles and if you insist some Christmas tunes!!

Christmas Wreath Kits
We will provide you with our locally grown willow, made into rings wrapped in welsh moss, all the foliage and seed heads, dried flower and seasonal berries from the farm and your choice of ribbon.

Handmade Wreaths

We will have a selection available on sale from Saturday 28th November. If you have something specific in mind please get in touch to pre order.

Bundles of Homegrown Christmas Foliage  & Eucalyptus

Nordman Fir and Traditional Spruce 1kg bundles of freshly cut branches from our homegrown trees. We will also have a supply of British grown eucalyptus. This is only available for collection from the farm. We are not posting any out this year.
